This Privacy Policy explains how Marketing Pro ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal data when you visit our website, request a Google Ads audit, contact us, or subscribe to one of our services. We are committed to processing your data lawfully, transparently, and in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
MARKETING PRO EUROPE S.R.L. (trading as Marketing Pro), with its registered office at Bulevardul Theodor Pallady, Nr. 66A, Bl. 10, Etaj 7, Ap. 92, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania, is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at privacy@marketingpro.group. For full company identification details, please see our Legal Notice.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact & audit requests: your name, email address, company name, website URL, phone number (optional), and any information you choose to include in your message or audit brief.
- Subscription & billing data: the plan you select, billing name, billing address, and transaction identifiers. Card and payment details are handled directly by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Analytics & usage data: pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions with the site may be collected if measurement is enabled and you consent. Measurement is not currently configured.
- Communications: records of correspondence when you email or otherwise contact us.
3. How and why we use your data (Legal bases)
We only process your personal data where we have a valid legal basis under the GDPR:
- To respond to enquiries and deliver audits — performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To provide and manage subscriptions and process payments — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and compliance with legal and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- For analytics and marketing measurement — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time via our cookie settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- To secure, maintain, and improve our website — our legitimate interests in running a safe and effective service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Our site also requests Google Fonts from Google before a cookie choice to display its typography. The request may disclose your IP address and browser request headers to Google; our browser check found no font cookie or local storage. See the Cookie Policy for the observed technologies. The appropriate legal basis for this font request should be assessed separately; a browser check alone is not a legal assessment.
4. Sharing your data and processors
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers ("processors") who act on our instructions and under contractual safeguards, including:
- Payment provider — to process subscription payments securely.
- Analytics & advertising platforms — to measure site performance and campaign effectiveness, where you have consented.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — to operate and store the website and its data.
- Communication tools — to manage email correspondence and notifications.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above. Audit and enquiry records are typically retained for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Subscription and billing records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 10 years). Analytics data is retained for the period configured in the relevant platform. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
6. International transfers
Some of our processors may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure an adequate level of protection through appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Your data protection rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For a full explanation of these rights and how to exercise them, please see our GDPR / Data Rights page.
8. How to contact us about privacy
To exercise any of your rights, or for any privacy-related question, email us at privacy@marketingpro.group. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
